Admission Notice 2014-2015

For admission to the 1st year of B.A/B.Sc/B.Com (Honours/General) courses.

Admission to the college is open to both boys and girls. Persons passing 10+2 level examination from West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education or equivalent (ISC / CBSC) from West Bengal are eligible for admission to degree class.

Admission Rules

» All forms should be duly and properly filled in and supplemented with required documents. Incomplete forms will not be considered.
» Reserved Seats: Those applying for Reserved Seats must attach with the application form, attested photocopies of caste, tribe or disability certificate from a competent authority. The Reservation is as per Government stipulations.
» Selection will be strictly on merit. The Merit lists will be displayed in the College notice board on these dates.
» All admissions are provisional subject to verification of documents and approval by the University of Calcutta. If the University does not approve the admission, the student will not be entitled to claim refund of fees.
» Students will not be allowed to take up any subject for which the college does not have affiliation.
» Applicants are requested to note the eligibility criteria as per norms governed by University of Calcutta. Mere submission of an application form does not make one automatically eligible for admission.

* [No students from unrecognised open school, correspondence / Patrachar course or private candidate be allowed to be admitted in Under Graduate class of the college.]

Documents Required

At the time of admission into degree classes following documents must be produced in original along with the photocopies of the same attested by Head of the Institution last attended.

Admit Card of Madhyamik or Equivalent Examination in original.
Mark Sheet of Madhyamik or Equivalent Examination in original.
Admit Card and Mark Sheet of last qualifying examination in original.
Migration Certificate for migrating students in original.
School Leaving Certificate for migrating students in original.

Tuition fees to be paid for three (3) months at the time of admission. A surcharge @ Rs. 20/- per month will be charges for late payment of fees. For any loss or damage of Identity Card/ Admission Receipt/ Library Card a fine of Rs. 200/- will be charged. Additional Rs. 100/- will be charged for Migrating Students.
